The Talented Trisha Teach

Yeah yeah yeah it's Trisha Teach in da hood!  However, there is really nothing gangsta about Trisha Teach...but that's okay, because she is instead crazy fabulous! Trisha is an Elementary Education major who, very fittingly, loves little children and sharing her wisdom with others. She is also very musically inclined and with her gorgeous voice (and I mean gorgeous, as this girl is tal-en-ted!) and exceptional piano skills, she often blesses the world with her music.

Trisha also has impeccable impersonation abilities, and yes, she does a pretty good gangsta impression. As such, I need to share a few little children videos that Trisha has mastered, and that provide endless entertainment to the household. And they are just so gosh darn precious!

First there's the Snotty Doctor...

The epic Spanish vs. Spinach debate...

And the summation of Star Wars according to an adorable three year old...

Trisha is a Montana native who knows her music, her impersonations, and as a fun tidbit--her flowers. And of course some mad coloring skills. While I'm making her sound sweet and innocent (which she can be), don't be fooled--Trisha Teach has got some serious 'tude. All of which is preparing her for her long-term stint with education.

The Classy, Crazy Smart Constance Chem-E

OW OW Constance Chem-E!! Here comes the resident nerd of the house! Which I say in the most loving way possible. Constance is another roommate who is in love with her major, which if you haven't guessed already, centers around math and science. A Chemical and Biological Engineering major, Constance reads her Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer Operations textbooks for fun...seriously. Constance isn't a typical nerd, though...while she was a valedictorian, she was also a cheerleader. And yes, that tidbit does make an entertaining appearance in jokes every now and then.

Constance also has a true love that comes in a four-legged furry form, though he's not incredibly tubby...her dog, Frankfurter. A height-challenged, feet (and other things)-licking, frequently face-planting animal, I'm glad Constance loves him so! And oh boy, she really does. For some insight into how much, all you need to know is that Frankfurter had four Halloween costumes, and don't you worry, he was absolutely adorable in all of them!!

An Idaho native who spent her teens in Montana, Constance came to college with what should have been the intent to rule the world, the universe, or something...after all, she's an aspiring female engineer. But in truth, her passion for math, science, and problem-solving, combined with the versatility of career options engineering brings, is what lured Constance in to become a Chem-E.  Look out world, this nerd is coming for ya!

Beginning The Tales With Gabby Geo...

Oh Gabby Geo...what can I say, this girl really likes her rocks. Though "really likes" isn't nearly accurate enough, because when Gabby gets going on her daily stories of rocks, the words come flying out a mile-a-minute, her voice raises about an octave as her excitement grows, and her little face lights up with pure joy! Yes, "absolutely loves," not "really likes," is definitely more fitting. Her favorite mineral is olivine.

Gabby Geo has another great love in her life...her cat, Kiki. I personally prefer to use the affectionate name of Tubby, as weighing in at roughly 20 lbs., it is much more suiting; though, "Kiki The Craaazy" also works since she has a tendency to roll off chairs, fall down stairs, and jump head-first into the back of the couch. A very special animal indeed...
While from the Midwest, she's a well-traveled girl, having lived in South-Central Africa for a year, researched in China for a month, and visited various European countries. She came to college initially thinking she wanted to study Paleontology, but after starting school, she quickly changed her mind. So narrowing in on her passion for the history of the earth and the awesomeness of plate tectonics, Gabby Geo determined that Geology was her calling.

Throughout this blog, I will be highlighting the different personalities, passions, and majors of my past and present wonderful roommates, who are all pursuing distinctly different majors. The tales will begin with brief backgrounds, personality insights, and how/why each roommate chose her major, followed by their college experiences so far in their fields of study, and ending with where they want and think their college education and experiences will take them in the future. So, let me introduce you to them all...there is Gabby Geo, Constance Chem-E, Trisha Teach, Adrianna Artsy, and Belinda Biz. All intriguing, all fabulous, and all slightly crazy...
